With BIRDS, everyone in the organization is able to generate fast, flexible and reliable insights into data in Power BI. The powerful foundation and smart frontend ensure that you don’t need to have a lot of technical knowledge and users can focus on making better decisions.
BIRDS comes with a set of predefined reports in Power BI on default. Users can easily make adjustments, change filters or, for example, create a new report in which data is visualized differently.
Easily and quickly see what would happen to results if there was an adjustment in the number of orders within the sales reports in Power BI. Or see how much you can still produce when fewer raw materials are available.
With the addition of Power ON to BIRDS and the integration with Power BI, that possibility is there. You can now easily write back data to the Tabular model of BIRDS and quickly draw conclusions about future results in case of deviating expectations. For example, Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting allows you to compare actuals with budgets and adjust and present budgets live.
Smarter management is only possible if you have the right information. BIRDS is tailored to the standard version of Exact Globe. However, we easily add customisation in Globe to BIRDS. BIRDS also easily includes industry-specific add-ons. As a result of collaborations with various Exact partners, a lot of content is already available.
Besides additions in Exact Globe, BIRDS can also easily integrate other source systems. Think for example of Excel files or a solution for time registration.
The data is loaded into a Tabular Model. This model is predefined so that the user does not have to perform any technical actions. If you, as a user, want to make adjustments in Power BI reports, you simply do so in Power BI.
BIRDS consists of a Data Hub and a set of reports in Power BI. The ease that a user experiences with BIRDS comes from the powerful construction of the foundation.
The data from Exact Globe is loaded into BIRDS. There the data is structured and cleaned. Possible shortcomings in the data become clear as a result. Data quality can be improved on that basis.
The data is then loaded into a Tabular Model. This model is predefined so that the user does not have to perform any technical actions. If you, as a user, want to make adjustments in Power BI reports, you simply do so in Power BI.
